Youngest son of world famous Bob Marley, Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley really keeps the Marley name alive and kicking. Though I was a big fan of his first album Welcome to Jamrock, I’m even a bigger fan of his collaboration with conscious emcee Nas. They teamed up to form an album called Distant Relatives.

I love when two artists who have mutual respect for one another can team up and put out something great. That really surpasses egos and pop culture. Kinda like what happened when Mos Def and Talib Kweli teamed up to be Blackstar.
